The UteBack Camper utilizes the same proven tent, bed, awning as BackTrax camper trailers.
Unit that can be mounted on the back of DUAL CAB OR EXTRA CAB STYLE SIDE UTES such as Nissan Navara, Toyota Hilux, Mazda BT50. Can also be mounted on trayback utes.
Its a perfect dual cab light weight removable ute back camper (or Trade Service Body, if not fitted with tent)
Internal capacity is 1000 litres (about the same as a 6x4 box trailer)
Set up as a ute back camper the unit weighs about 150kg
Set up with no tent and used as a Trade Service storage body, the unit weights about 90kg
Weather sealed with Automotive rubber seals, Marine grade stainless hinges & locks
Strong thick fibreglass construction
Rack system (as per camper trailer) can be mounted on the roof
Wind up optional jack legs for easy removal & storage from your vehicle

ADVANTAGES OF THE BACKTRAX DESIGN:

- Fibreglass light weight design. Fibreglass does not rust or corrode. All fittings are stainless or alloy.
- Tent sets up opposite to most campers. Awning goes up first with the tent pulling out underneath the awning providing a double tropical roof over the tent.
Advantage of this system is the main tent remains dryer & cooler with the awning up.
If its raining or very hot when packing up you can put everything away first (including the tent)but the awning remains up providing shelter. The awning comes down last.
- For just an overnight stop the tent itself (no awning) takes just a few minutes to set up
- The complete setup (with awning) takes about 15 minutes
- Head room under peak of awning is 2.260 metres*
- You can leave your gear on the roof rack / tray when setting up.
- Your bed is under the fibreglass hardtop when setup. Much better protection.
- The bed has a flip over extension to it. You sleep East / West across the camper. The advantage of this is you don't have to climb over your partner to get in/out of bed.
- Optional kids bedroom available. This attaches to the rear of the setup camper tent
- A roof-top tent option for bare trailer models. Mounts on the roof rack and is removable from the trailer.
- Awning option only on bare trailers. Ability to setup an awning without having the built-in tent option. Awning attaches to the raised fibreglass top providing shelter. Suits ute back trade service body also.
- Other options available include bike carriers, kayak carriers, fishing road holders, top carry boxes, 12 volt battery pack, Water tank with fittings, hand pump & bash protection plate underneath, stainless steel slideout kitchen with 3 bnr stove, sink & pressure water, jerry can holders, gas bottle holders and more.
